RoadTax 24x7 (“RoadTax 24x7”, “we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information the RoadTax 24x7 mobile application collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the app, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to provide our road-tax services:

• Account information — when you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from your Google account.
• Profile information — your home state, and optionally your mobile number and GSTIN, which you provide to process your applications.
• Order information — details you enter to place an order, such as vehicle number, seating capacity, state/border selection, dates, and any document numbers required for your tax type (for example, chassis number).
• Payment information — payments are handled by our payment gateway. We receive confirmation of payment and a transaction reference, but we do not store your full card, UPI, or bank credentials.
• Device information — a device identifier is used to help prevent fraud and abuse of referral rewards, and basic technical data needed to operate the app securely.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account and process your road-tax applications.
• To calculate pricing, process payments, and issue your order certificate.
• To send you order updates and provide support when you contact us.
• To operate, secure, and improve the app, and to prevent fraud and misuse.
• To comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

3. Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only as needed to deliver the service:

• With the relevant government / RTO systems as required to process your application.
• With our payment gateway to process transactions securely.
• With service providers who help us operate the app, under confidentiality obligations.
• Where required by law, regulation, or a valid legal request.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account and order information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, meet legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your information as described below.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures — including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls — to protect your information from unauthorised access, alteration, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.

6. Your Rights & Choices

You may contact us at any time to review, update, or request deletion of your personal information, or to close your account. We will respond to reasonable requests in line with applicable law.

7. Third-Party Services

The app uses Google Sign-In for authentication and a payment gateway for transactions. Your use of these services is also subject to their respective privacy policies.

8. Children’s Privacy

The app is intended for users aged 18 and above and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated policy.
